Today, many arts presenters in Canada use this label to designate a series of concerts, organised independently, but united in the desire to celebrate the arts through francophone music and song.

Concerts in the category of “Concert Nouvelle Scène” are also open to artists who are more advanced in their careers and who want to present a new album or a new show. These events have become a key platform for vocalists/singers to launch a new album and who want to showcase their work in a more intimate setting before taking it into the major performance venues.
Concerts nouvelle scène - Centre culturel francophone de Vancouver

This annual concert series is mainly dedicated to emerging artists, usually from British Columbia, but also from other provinces or francophone countries. These concerts are a great opportunity for these artists to gain experience performing on stage. They also give the population of Vancouver an opportunity to attend professional calibre concerts in French, presented on a regular basis.
